Is The iPhone Worth The Extra Money?

Apple's iPhone 3GS is the latest release of Apple's cherished smartphone, as usual packed
with even more features than the last version.

The iPhone 3GS, on the outside, looks just like the iPhone 3G. The only difference is the small etching
on the back of the phone. On this version of the iPhone, the significant changes have been made on the inside.

One of the biggest changes to the 3GS is its speed. Apple have upgraded the 412Mhz processor to 600MHz, and the 128MB of RAM has been bumped up to 256MB. The graphics chip on the 3GS
has been supercharged. Thanks to all of these things, the 3GS can now load things at double the speed of its predecessor, the 3G.

Another thing that has been upgraded is the storage space. The 3GS is now available with a rather hefty 32GB
of space, making it a better rival to the iPod Touch as a personal media player.

Another of the additions to the 3GS is it's new screen, made to resist finger print marks. Thanks to this, fingerprint marks are greatly reduced and you get better image quality. This is a great feature if you're one
of those people that always gets their hands dirty.

As awaited by many Apple enthusiasts, the 3GS now finally has a better 3-megapixel camera and can now record
videos.

The 3GS is simply loaded with features. You can phone and text friends, record videos, surf the web,
view RSS feeds, take pictures, check your emails, play music, view movies and TV shows, view pictures, it can
be a compass, IM people, it has a calendar built in, and there are countless apps available for download from the iTunes store, there's voice control and a built in GPS! And that's just a few.

Following some recent deals between Apple and mobile phone networks, the iPhone 3GS is available on many networks, such as O2 and Orange. It no longer holds its exclusivity in the UK. With all of these tariffs available, there will be one that's suited to you.

The iPhone 3GS is one of the most feature-packed smartphones, in my opinion, on the market. Many of it's features can't be found on any other phone.

This all brings up the final question; should I buy the iPhone 3GS? As I would say with all Apple products, if you can afford one you should go and buy one, but if this is above your budget, you should probably get one of the alternatives to Apple products or maybe get an iPhone 3G, as they
now retail for very low prices.
