This writer once lived in the woods in England for over 3 years. Although I continue to listen to the radio from time to time, I tended to ignore the huge changes occurring in real life. I originally heard the alphabet soup term “GPS” while I was still living in America, but always in the area of an army or big law enforcement or rescue agency.
