Cellular phones have advanced from mere gadgets where you can make a call to anyone even while in transit or you’re far away from home. Today, they have become urbane communications gadgets that allow the user to make a mobile call, send electronic messages, chat via Instant Messaging Applications and browse the internet.

Just a few decades ago, people were using bulky behemoths that barely deserved to be called portable phones. Those phones were far too inconvenient to really use on a regular basis. These days, however, mobile phones have become so small and so slick, that it sometimes becomes difficult to use them. It’s almost absurd.

Today, having a cellphone is a given. People never leave our houses without one anymore. The convenience that these revolutionary little gadgets give us is simply unprecedented. What’s more, cell phones have grown from being merely portable telephones that we use to communicate with others while we’re on the move to mini-computers which can do just about anything. We can play games on them, listen to music, watch movies, create pictures, and so much more.
